Keyboard Navigation

You can use the TAB key to navigate down through links within the menu and the main text of each page. Pressing the SHIFT key at the same time as the TAB key will allow you to move up through the links on each page.

Once a link has been highlighted, select ENTER to activate it.

Access Keys

This site does not use access keys.

Font Type and Size

For improved visibility you may be able to increase (or decrease) the size of text and alter the choice of font within your own web browser.

Internet Explorer users

To alter the font size:
  1. Navigate to 'View' within the brower menu.
  2. Choose 'Text size'.
  3. Select the appropriate font size, for example 'Larger'.
To alter the font type:
  1. Navigate to 'Tools' within the brower menu.
  2. Open your 'Internet Options' window.
  3. Under 'History' choose 'Fonts' and select your preferred font.
  4. Within 'Internet Options' choose 'Accessibility'. You then need to select 'Ignore font styles specified on web pages'.
  5. Select 'OK'.

This process will ensure that the page you are viewing now appears with your chosen specifications.

Netscape/Mozilla/Firefox users

To alter the font size:
  1. Navigate to 'View' within the brower menu.
    1. For Netscape 6: choose 'Increase Font' as many times as you find is necessary for the size that you want.
    2. For Netscape 7: choose 'Text Zoom' and select your preferred percentage of zoom.
    3. For Mozilla/Firefox: choose 'Text Size' and 'Increase'.
To alter the font type in Netscape:
  1. Navigate to 'Edit' within the brower menu.
  2. Select 'Preferences', 'Appearance', 'Fonts'.
  3. Choose 'Use my default fonts, overriding document-specified fonts'.
To alter the font type in Firefox/Mozilla:
  1. Navigate to 'Tools' within the brower menu.
  2. Select 'Options', 'General', 'Fonts & Colors'.
  3. Select 'Always use my: Fonts'.

These changes will ensure that that any set fonts within this web site are ignored by your browser.

Colour of Text and Background

You may require specific colours in order to be able to view the site easily.

Internet Explorer users

  1. Navigate to 'Tools' within the brower menu.
  2. Open your 'Internet Options' window.
  3. Under 'History' choose 'Colors'. You can change text and background page colour as well as the colour in which links appear, then click 'OK'.
  4. Within 'Internet Options' choose 'Accessibility' and select 'Ignore colors specified on Web pages'.
  5. When you select 'OK', this should ensure that the page you are viewing now appears with your specifications.

Netscape users

  1. Navigate to 'Edit' within the brower menu.
  2. Select 'Preferences', 'Appearance', Navigate to 'Preferences', 'Colors'.
  3. Choose 'Always use my colors, overriding document', then specify your colours.

Mozilla/Firefox users

  1. Navigate to 'Tools' within the brower menu.
  2. Select 'Options', 'General', 'Fonts & Colors'.
  3. Select 'Always use my: Colors'.
